im tired of hearing the "my car is far from clean" thing. your car is not clean because you dont want to take the time and spend the money to make it clean. if you buy crap wheels for your crap car then it will be just more crap. spend the money to buy some nice wheels that actually fit the car then you will have nice wheels and a not as crap car. save your money and fix the wing situation and then is a lil less crap. you get where im going. its only a crap car because you let it be crap.

I bought the car as is. So blaming me for someone elses work is pointless. And spending thousands on the camaro just to get it to somewhat near stock isn't worth the money to me imo. When I could put that money into my corvette. So it's kind of hard to get the car to be normal looking when money is tight for me.

I looked into other wings, one that someone recommended and it actually looked nice. Sadly it was $500. So I'm hoping stock replacement will be cheaper.

As I said in my above post. I'm done with argueing. Even though maybe that wasn't your intention, or maybe it was. Idk. I'm sure the insults will always continue whether or not the car is "riced" or normal. As said can't please everyones tastes.

Appreciate any wheel suggestions or tips on wheel sizes.

Thanks.

I asked for wheel suggestions, that's all.

When did I ask, "Where can I find these item's?"

Not that I'm not appreciative. Just don't understand why got to be smart about it?

[QUOTE=chaman;17732991]Generally speaking:

Camaro: subtle, clean, simple wheels look better
Trans Am: slightly more busy wheels can be pulled off

The wheels in my car have been used on both cars but tend to be more successful in TAs.

I generally a camaro fan but GEEZ your car looks good. The wheels look great on your car.
I hope this isnt a inappropriate.

Possibably around 1,000. I looked at some summit ones, pretty cheap and look good. Would like to stick with chrome wheels. But suggestions are welcomed.

$1000 for wheels (and presumably tires) is tough...have you looked at OE wheels?

I have to buy new tires anyhow. I just ment 1000 just for rims alone. Sorry for not being more exact.

I always liked OEwheels polished C5DD's for a good, staggered budget wheel setup. 17x9.5, 18x10.5's.

Those are very nice wheels. I plan on putting those kind of wheels for my C3. Kinda looking for wheels that are kinda "busy" looking. But not crazy like the ones I have now. Something kinda classy but yet unique. Has anyone tried putting the newer camaro wheels on the 4th gens?

The 20" that comes on the SS looks way off on a 4th gen...not sure about the smaller wheels that typically come on the V6 cars.

Yeah you have a point. Just looked them up earlier. My buddies were telling me to go with 18in wheels with 5 spokes, sort of an american muscle style. So I'm currently looking for something of that nature.

Furious1 is right on, C5DD's will look great on your car.

I know because your car's twin is on a local forum. He's running the 17" front / 18" rear combo. I personally like them 18" all around though.

Since you want something more busy looking and unique check out some of these threads for inspiration:

I actually really like that setup, thanks for finding this! You actually might have me sold on those wheels. I just would've thought because of the ground effects more busy like wheels would be better, but you proved me wrong.

I would just hate to copy that guy though.
