Default Black or Chrome?

Ok I'm thinking about trading my current wheels (C6 Z06 replica) for some chrome ZR1's. The ZR1's are 17x9 all around and eventually would get 17x11 rears for that fat *** look

What do you think, should I stay with my C6 Z06, or trade for the ZR1's?

My current setup:

Or trade for chrome ZR1's (not my car but close comparisons)

I would definitely go with the chrome C4 ZR1s. They are probably my favorite wheels for the 4th gen. Also, I don't care for black wheels without some sort of polished lip, as it's just too much black IMO.

I know what you mean. The black looks mean on the car but not sure if it really goes with it. I always thought the chrome ZR1 wheels are made for camaros and gives it a much cleaner look. With my car being lowered also it should look good.

i like the Chrome ZR1s...Some C5 Deep Dish in chrome would look good as well. I know its not your fault but the red mirrors bother me so much lol.

I love the red on black combo on almost any car. And I love the C6 Z06 wheels, so I say keep them. Looks much better imo. I think even silver SS 10 spokes or ZR1s would look better than chrome (not a fan of chrome at all especially on a red car). C6 Z06 reps in black are exactly what I want on my SOM SS. I love those wheels. If you'll consider trading for 10 spokes hit me up lol. I'll add cash.

Well after much looking back and forth I think I'm going to swap to the chrome ZR1's.

The black looks good and gives it a mean look, but I feel like I'll be getting tired of them real soon.

The ZR1 almost gives it that original clean look. And once I get 11" rears, that rear stance would look sooooo nice

My wheels are black so I am biased. As long as your wheels are a decent off-set and not punched in so far that they look like "inny" belly buttons, you will be fine!! You could even consider painting a red lip around your current wheels, just a thought!

Well I traded for the ZR1 wheels. Looks much cleaner and gives it a classy look.

I'll try and get some pics up

Yeah the original clean look is right. It actually looks really good in the car and the rims are really clean too. That's why I want 17x11 rears so i can have more meat back there lol. I bet that converter will still blow through these tires
