Found these pics on my external from my test fitment back in march. Crappy pics but haven't been able to do anything since then. 15x4 w/ 2.5 bs fronts and 15x10.33 w/ 7.5 bs rears. Going to clean up the hubs and they will be done in black to match the wheels so I don't have to run those big ugly cups on these. Running M/T Sportsman 15x4.5x60 on front and M/T Drag Radial Pro 275/60/15 for the rears. Had to shave down the front calipers on the 05-06 GTO calipers to run 15" wheels. Not enough room to run weights on them if running stock break setup on GTO with 15's. Only use these for the track so not an issue for me plus plan on eventually swapping to a drag break setup that will give me extra room and take even more weight off.

Edit: Not sure why that one pic is coming up sideways.

I never did get around to taking any good pictures, but here's a couple that I haven't posted in this thread yet...

Still looking great. Surprised more of this wheel setup hasn't shown up more with the LSx crowd.

Couple more pictures. I'm very glad that I chose to narrow the rear because I'm pretty sure I would have been much less happy with how they looked if they had more backspacing.

and even though you can't really see the wheels here... I'm still going to post them!

Slow94Formula,
What "pad heights" are your wheels?
fronts = medium ?
rears = low ?
Your car look great!

this is what i mean by pad height for those of you how may not know... I am looking to get a set for my car and am unsure which to get, think i like the look of the low pad the most,
need to measure to see if the low's will clear my calipers

So you don't think they'd look good with say a stock backspaced rear?

I know the fronts are medium, and pretty sure the rears are low, but not positive. I have stock LS brakes in the front. I took two pictures of the front spokes to the caliper. Hope they help.

There's about 5/8" clearance in the center of the spoke

and a bit over 1/2" towards the outside of the wheel

My opinion is that they need the polished barrel to offset such tight spokes with all the black on them with a 15" rim. I saw a few pictures of wheels with less dish in this thread and other places and they look okay, but it's just not the same. Although everyone has them... I like the look of the s71 on stock width rear cars. Just my opinion

Excellent, thank you Slow94...

Guitar,
Not my car, but here is my friends car with S71's (w/ stock backspacing, 17"x9.5", and high pad height on all four corners)

Gotcha Slow. Pig, thanks for the pic but I was mainly asking about the ones Slow has - the regular Welds look good regardless of BS usually. I don't know, may just stick with Racestars until I end up switching rears then. We'll see what happens next year!

Here is a few photos of our SS with 15" S77B wheels with a stock length rear. Excuse the crappy photo quality.
