OE Wheels C5 DD 18x10.5 - Tire Setup
I have searched and searched and searched more but cannot find the exact answer I am looking for. There are a lot of different setups that are close to what I am looking for so here is my question. I have a 98 Trans am currently running OE Wheels C5 18x9.5 with 275-35-18 tires. I am going to order the C5 deep dish and was wondering if I go with 18x10.5 on all four corners will 295-35-18 tires fit in the front? I am looking at the Nitto NT05 tire for all 4. I was going to do the 18x10.5 R and 18x9.5 front but finding tires that work is a pain so far from the site I am looking on. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I run OEM C5Z Speedline wheels with 315 Hoosiers on all 4 corners. You need ARP 2.5" studs on all 4 corners and I run 1/2 spacer in the front and 5/16 in the rear.
5/16 spacers will work on all 4 corners for 295's tho.

I have 18x9.5 with P295/40/R18's in the front and they fit perfectly with no spacers or anything. No clearence issues at all no rubbing they fit perfect! IMO i wouldnt do NT05 on all four wheels. Idk what this car is used for but i can tell you if you drive it on the street your going to have an awful time when it rains. Theres absolutly no gain from running drag radials in the front on a RWD car... your better off getting the NT05 for the back and some normal tires for the front. You will save money because drag radials wear much much faster than normal street tires.

Cool. I know OEwheels has the 18x10.5 C5Z wheels on sale for $83 a wheel. That's a real good deal.
What about 275-35-18's, or maybe 275-40-18's all around? I know those are close to the stock 275-40-17's in size, and they're a lot cheaper then 295-35-18's.

Also check into the 295-30-18's. I noticed that they run considerably cheaper than the 35's. I personally want the 35 profile on my 18's when I get them so I'm thinking of going with the 285-35-18's, which are also considerably cheaper than the 295-35-18.

I'm running 18x10.5 c5 dd at all 4 corners and they bolted right up with no issues. A 275 would probably fit fine but would be way too stretched in my opinion. I have 295s on mine and kind of wished I did 305s.
