how hard to replace rear studs?

Default how hard to replace rear studs?

So when I bought my car it had 8mm universal spacers on the rear. It's only a dd, but for my own saftey I did the bfh mod, and got some 5mm hub centric spacers to get more threads on the nuts. When I was putting them back on one of the studs got stripped. So needles to say ill be driving my truck until I get it fixed. Just wondering how hard it is to replace. I saw a video about pulling the abs sensor, hammering out the old ones and fishing the new ones threw... Seems like a pain. Also my lugs are capped so can I even run a longer stud? They get about 6-8 good turns with the new spacers. You think it'd be safe to drive it somewhere to replace them? What would you say the labor would be for that?

stock wheel studs are m12x 1.5 , they have at at advance or autozone for about 2.50 a piece .

I just changed some on my formula and i dont have tcs so its easy . Knock them out then pull the new ones in with a cordless impact .

If you have tcs you have to pull the axle to do it and if thats the case get arp and do them all at once.

That sucks. I dont know how to pull the whole axle I might just take it in to get it done.

Not true. You do not have to pull the axle.

I have traction control on my car and did not.

You have to pull the speed sensor and knock out the stud through that hole. Its a tight fit, but better than pulling axles.

^^ what he said, ive done it twice and you dont have to pull the axle.

Its just like in the video above. Take the sensor out that will give you the hole you need on the backside then hammer the old stud or studs if your going to replace them all, through the hole. I went with some ARP studs that were longer and stronger. Take your time when your pulling them back through if the lug starts to get hot move on the next stud and let that one cool down before torquing on them again. Hope this helps.
