Default Will the WS6 17" wheels fit my base/formula 99?
Is there any reason the 17" WS6 stock chrome wheels won't fit my 99 base car?

Are they wider than 7"?

There are lots more tire choices on 17" than 16"

Stock WS6 wheel will fit your car without any problem.
The are 17" tall x 9" wide. You will want a 275/40/17 tire for proper fitment.
