Default 1996 Camaro SS wheels

Can someone steer me in the right direction as far as the wheels that came on the 1996 Camaro SS? Found a website that sells reconditioned wheels and want to order the correct ones. I'm looking for the silver finish because I'm not big on chrome.

If anyone has any other sites or recommendations I would appreciate it.

The wheel you referenced, is the correct wheel for the SSs. It's also known as a "ZR-1" wheel, as it originally was offered on C-4 Corvettes with the ZR-1 option.

17x9 is the correct F-body wheel. Corvette and aftermarket production are 17x9.5. If somebeody is selling a genuine 1996 SS wheel in anything other than 17x9 it is aftermarket (liar) or Corvette. The spoke design for the Corvatte was slightly different as well.

Both posts above are correct. Factory F-body sizing was 17x9", 50mm offset. Factory C4 Corvette rear sizing (17x9.5", 56mm offset) is normally used for the reproductions though.

Thanks for the responses. Now I need to find the real things and not the aftermarket stuff.

I'm not sure how **** you are about them being perfectly original, but the 98-99 SS "ZR1" wheels have a lot more mettalic in the silver than the 96-97 wheels. I have the 98-99 style on my 96 and it doesn't look quite right to me...

Some of the most recent aftermarket versions have a lot of metallic, but none of the factory '96-'99 examples have ever stood out to me as being more (or less) metallic based on model year.

So where can I get some OEM 96-97 ZR1 silver wheels? I'm not big on chrome and yes I'm **** about the 17x9 specs. If anyone on here has them (4 good condition wheels) for sale PM me. Willing to pay top dollar because I'm tired of the fakes online.

PM sent. Have a perfect set of 96 model OEM SS wheels on my teal green SS... Have the correct center caps as well. Tires are nearly new. They have under 500 miles.
