How much they run you per tire?

I think they were right around 200.00 each.

I am curious, what was your deciding factor to go with the Hoosiers over the 185 M&Hs that a lot of people run?

because the 185 M&H is a fwd drag radial...did not want a sticky tire up front that wears fast. Also the Hoosier looks much better imo.

Gotcha. How do you like the Hoosier fronts street driving?

They drive great and actually handle surprisingly well! I am very happy with the setup. I have a old Gtech performance meter that measures withing a tenth of my local track and I picked up 8 tenths the first pass I made switching to this tire/wheel setup...not to mention that was the first pass on a soft launch. The weather went to **** before I could make more passes and try different tire pressure/launching techniques.

Just wanted to update. So after logging some miles driving on skinnies, I noticed stopping distance was dramatically reduced. Also higher speed maneuvering is not nearly as good. I found myself not wanting to cruise high way speeds nor much over 60 mph. So I decided to bite the bullet and and order some 17x7's for street duty.

Yeah there is a big difference between 4.5 and 7s when it comes to braking and handling. 7s braked IMO about 90% as good as stock. 4.5's, more like 60%
