Dark Star finish question

Dark Star finish question I just received my set of Dark Stars in 17x4.5 and 15x10. The 15's look great but the 17's have this rainbow hue in the finish. I took a picture but it does not show everything. The weird thing is you only see it in florescent light. Anybody else run into this?
Exact same thing I noticed when I first unboxed mine. They almost appeared to look burnt orange when the light hit them just right, specifically in the holes where the lug nuts go. Once I bolted them up and got the car out in the sun, I did not notice it at all.

yea I just got off the phone with Race Star and they confirmed it was normal. I just thought it was weird that you can only see it on the 17's and not the 15's.
If I recall, I noticed it on both the 17's and 15's. Not a big deal at all though. It's just how the light reflected off of them. Hurry up and get them mounted and post up some pictures.

well I ran into another issue...I unboxed all the wheels and sat them next to each other and they do not match. one of the 17's has a more chrome appearance. also the darker one has bubbles in the finish. looks like I received a mismatch blem set.

Yea I did...going to get a replacement set.

yes I really like them, but I have had the worst luck. I had to have one of the mickeys taken off the rim and sent back because it was out of round and would not balance. The tire shop also dropped a pressure gauge on one of the front runners and put a small ding in it...been one thing after another...lol
