Default Weld rt's not clearing rear STOCK calipers

so long story short i bought a set of WELD rt's for the rear of my car. i have aerospace brakes on my red car. for ***** and giggles i put them on my other camaro to see how they looked. i have stock ls1 calipers ground down for 15x8 pro stars. these things do not clear my stock calipers like weld has said.
part number is 71MB-510B75A. I know its medium pad height. is there something im doing wrong that it wont clear or do i have to grind the **** out of the calipers to clear? i was assured by the people at WELD that these would clear. I would like to use this set on both cars. if i knew they wouldnt have cleared i wouldnt have shelled out the money and i would have went with bogarts which i know will fit

Hmm I had the same exact ones and cleared no problem, with ungrinded calipers. Id call up weld maybe you get the wrong ones. Theyll probably tell you your beat though because they come with a warning to test fit before mounting.

I spoke to weld they said it may have been misboxed. I have aerospace brakes on the car they are actually going on so its not a big deal. I just wants others to get a heads up

Weld sucks at QC. Doesn't surprise me.

Yeah their website kinda sucks too but I was wheel shopping for drag wheels & it seems like all the wheel sites suck.
I was thinking about Welds but IDK.

Weird!
It's strange to me the variance in them. I have a set of 15x10 RTS fit no problem, throw on a set from a buddy exact same wheel, rubbed pretty bad.

Looks like a spider got wedged in there. Get it out and they'll clear no problem.

The spiders add to the aerodynamics. I spoke to weld I guess I have the shave the calipers a little more. Some caliper castings are thicker for some reason. The cars sit in the winter because I live in Chicago lol. Guess I'll grind and see haha

This isn't the first time I've seen this. A couple people have still had to grind just a little off of the caliper.

Had to grind my rear calipers as well. Wasn't a lot but still needed grinding
