The rubber band side walls handle like crap and hook like crap in a straight line. We have 25.6" tall tires from the factory(that is what fits the best) you can go wide no problem, but not tall and work well.
Some pull it off in the looks department, but I would bet good money they do not handle like my 17s or 18s with the right height and some side wall.
^Yup, track tires will be on 18" wheels. I'd like to get some 315's, but seeing how I get 16 laps a weekend at our local events, I'd be going through stock hubs every time, lol!
Gonna have to work my way up and get those new hubs.
I think it's a matter of taste, I personally like my 19's and I really didn't notice a difference in ride quality going from 18 to 19's.
Yes I agree I believe it's subject to the wheels as well as having more sidewall in the rear. I think they missed my point though it's my DD not a weekend car, I bought them to simply to burn them out and I sold them for twice as much as I paid that same day. Could have got more too. Your wheels look amazing though
No ofence but those rims are horrible... there are plenty of good looking F bodies with 19`s arround here its not the size, is the overall composition and valance of the car, color, suspention, rims and tires...

Not a fan of bigger wheels on these cars tbh. I've seen a couple 18" wheels that I like, but the 17's look the best imo.
17`s are a Dying breeth... each day even less wheels are made thats and the space for bigger brakes was an issue for me... but I agree No bigger than 18... MAYBE some 19`s with suspention cars can looks good but 20`s unless is a firebird will look hideus and 21 + is ... well... at that point its not a camaro anymore

I'm not sure I see any actual need for larger brakes unless it's for competition purposes. Stock LS1 brake size with some upgraded pads and rotors is plenty for normal street use IMO.
