R888 flat spotting
For those of you with Toyo R888s, have you noticed your tires flat spotting after you leave the car sitting for a week or two?
This causes a vibration to occur when you first take the car out but goes away about 5 minutes later once the tires get warm. Is this common/normal with these tires?

Given that the only tires with a softer compound than those are full-on road race, or drag slicks of at least an 'intermediate compound', yes, I would expect them to flat spot when sitting for any period of time longer than a couple of days.
Remember those are 100 tread wear tires, the UN-streetable, Hoosier A/R 7s are 40 tread wear, and some other (even DOT) road race tires are 0 tread wear.

You can try pumping them up to 40-45 psi right before you put it away for those 2 weeks, and then bleeding it back down when you take it out for it's 'exercise'. Then repeat.

Unfortunately, my Z28 has been a garage queen for years. I try to take it out monthly, but that's hard to do during the winter months. I've been on 17's, 18's, and 19's and every tire I've had on that thing gets flat spots that takes 5-10 miles of driving to spin out. I've even bumped tire pressures up to 45 psi to try and help and it does slightly, but I've just had to learn to expect it and live with it...
