My buddy doesn't want to. Sam won't talk about wheel specs (he claims they're proprietary). Only if you buy the wheels, he'll let you what you bought. Sam charges shipping and tax too (we're in PA as well). Other vendors will discuss specs no problem prior to purchase. $14xx/shipped is what other vendors charge for 18x11 f14's.

It's somewhat silly not to help with offsets IMO. Honestly, all it takes is for someone to buy from Sam then when someone asks what offsets they are, they let it out of the bag. Some will stick with small business even if they pay a little more due to tax/shipping. But most will buy where ever they can get free shipping etc.
But you could also make a cardboard template of a 18x10.5 wheel and cut out different offsets and go from there. Place it flush against the hub surface and rotate it and check for clearance.
Or you find someone with a 18x10.5 wheel with XX offset. Put it on the car and check fitment, then add washers to act as a spacer until fitment is correct. Figure out the new adjusted offset given the wheel and washers you added to get total offset.
We know a OEM C5Z 18x10.5 has a +58 (documented online) offset that TYPICALLY needs around 12-15mm spacer in the front to fit...making it a +43mm offset wheel. Which is why OP's F14's with a +40 offset fits with no issues. I suspect his fitment is the same as running a C5Z wheel with a 18mm spacer.

My buddy is confident and will be fine with his setup. Most likely going rotojoints on the panhard bar or watts link. So limited movement laterally with a panhard from the arch or none with a watts.
18x11 +43 315/30 is what seems to be the best for camaro applications. Firebirds can get away with a bit more.
We'll see what happens, car needs to be acquired first. He needs to get the seller off his high horse... Decent car, 25k mi. 6spd. T-tops. Clean interior/exterior. Simple old-man modifications. Catback. SLP lid. Hurst shifter. Guy is hung up on a $15k price

Shopping for some F14's, my buddy is working a deal on a '00 Z28 now, and if he gets it he immediately want to order them, due to the lead times associated.
Anyone have more Camaros pictured with them?
This Camaro is 18x10 +40 front and 18x11 +45 rear... pretty sure 315/30 square.

I think fellas talking about wheel sizes using "offsets" isn't the best idea. Use "backspacing" dimensions. It is the same for any width or diameter wheel, so therefore much less confusing. For instance, An 18x10 wheel with a 285 tire will most likely fit as inboard as possible with a 7.75 to "maybe" an 8" backspacing with a little extra work. Wider tires on the same sized rims need a little extra backspacing. If you want you rim to run more to the outside wheel well, get 7" backspacing, or even a bit less. If you want to go with an 18x12.5 or 18x11 or a 19x10.5 wheel, or whatever larger sized rim dimension you choose, minimum back spacing is the same, 7.75. If you want to make sure you have room for the wider calipers of some big brake kits, go with a 6.75 backspacing and a 1" spacer.
Backspacing is such an easier concept to comprehend.
