Default Pheonix or M&H front runner? bias ply vs radial?

I have been searching and searching like crazy and cant get a clear answer. Most people say radial skinny front and bias ply rear are fine and don't have sway - then several people say you must run bias front if bias rear even if skinny. I'm so damn confused.

I drag race a C5 Z06 & a Gbody Buick Regal & have 17x4.5 front and 16x10 rear CCW classics - I use the same set of wheels on both cars. I like to drive the car to the track (30 miles away one way) on the drag pack - I'd figure 2 trips per month to the track, that's about the only street miles they will see, otherwise I will be in street wheel/tire trim.

I am thinking about giving these new Phoenix 17" front runners a try

or the M&H 17" bias front is about $60 more per pair

can I get some thoughts or opinions? Hoping to order by this evening

M&H here too, the deciding factor was the DOT approval and 26in diameter. 27's would have been too tall on a lowered car.

I went Hoosier Pro Street radial...that way I did not have a actual drag radial on my front runners which is what the M&H are.

I have a set of the MH dot bias 28s in front.

But I also have a set of the 27.0 Phoenix I picked up used, dang they are light.

Why don't you call Jegs or Summit Racing or someplace like that and ask what would be better to run?
