Default MT ET 305/35R18 on a 9.5" rim?

I have a guy selling a set of knock off c6 rims that are 18x9.5 and he has a set of 305/35R18 Mickey Thompson ET streets on them. I am worried about a 305 being on a 9.5" rim. He says they aren't bulging and are square to the rim. What are your guys opinions on that??

first off I would get some pics from him to verify. I have a 295/35 nitto on an 18x10.5 rim and it is pretty much square, pic to give you an idea

You could be alright with those ET streets on that wheel. Based on the chart from Mickey the 305/35/18's spec wheel is 11" but can be used on any wheel 10-12" ... 9.5 could be pushing it

I has 305/35/19 MT's on 9.5 inch rim and at 32psi it was 1/4 inch on each side that didn't touch. @23 psi it flattened out. So really just depends on the psi you wanna run.

Yours should be square. You have a 1 inch wider wheel and a narrower tire.

that's why I posted it, he's looking at a 1 inch narrower wheel and a 10mm wider tire....... so it will be bulging

Here are a few pictures of the rims he has forsale. I'm probably going to buy them and maybe slap a more streetable and smaller tire on them.
I would assume the guy installing the tire would have had a hard time even getting the tire to bead and/or hold air.

I have nt05's, which I think are drag radials but I have them on all 4 corners for handling purposes

Oh my god

"3" anything doesn't belong on "9" anything. That experiment died years ago.....
