Question Nitto 555 drag ???

Hello guys, I have a 02 z28 A4 Mods are FL headers y no cats,Mufflex 4"CB,3.42 gears, UMI adj.TA, SLP CAI and SSRA,Diablo Hand held, Bugarts 15x4 and 15X9.75. The car is a daily driver that run like 20 miles a day and every time i can i go to have fun in the track with my son. Them next i going to put a 38k to 4K stall.
Car was completly stock with 2.73 gears ran 13.91.
Now my big question is how far the Nitto DR 275/50/15 can stick the car in the track?
I asking because i found a very good deal a new set.

I've had the 17" version hold 430/390 pretty well, I'd imagine the 15" version could deadhook <500rwhp. Much over that and I wouldnt hold my breath. A lot of high hp guys like to use them as street tires for 50+mph roll racing because they last longer than other DRs do.

Ok nice.
I used them in the past back in 2002 in my 1998 SS M6 with 4.10 17" version to but it not hold the car well. Now i never tested the in auto cars.

I have 245 50 16 nitto 555r on my car and I can roast them from a roll. much better than street tires but for max traction go with Mickeys
I use these to be a little easier on the rear end.

For a while I DD them on my old Terminator putting down 490 whp and over 500 lb-ft and used my factory 17x9's and ran the 555R's in a 315/35-17 and I was always very happy with them. In warm weather I could go WOT from a 5/10 MPH roll and they would dead hook for me in that situation. If I were to try to launch the car hard from a standstill then they would break loose and spin. They plant way more power than your typical summer performance, but they're also the least sticky DR out there, but they also last longer, handle better, and are more manageable in the rain than most other DR's as well.

I think when they hook they hook propel you forward much faster than a street tire, but if they do start to spin they just keep spin until you let off the throttle like most other street tires trying to plant a lot of power.

I ended ordering a set of 275/50/15 MT DR. Dec.2 is the day to test them.
