Default Taller tire
Need a 27 in tire that's the same with as a 275/40/17. Tires I have now are 25.6. I don't have any room to go wider, just taller.

I believe the 275/40-17's are 25.6" tall. You may want to try 285/40-17's.

Yup and Nitto makes a 275/50/17 thats 27.8 tall that is more street but is very grippy according to tire rack reviews.
