So an oemfitment f body wheel has 7.5 bs.I think they offer a 6.5 bs in 15x10,not sure how much that would stick out and if they would rub.So if someone was ordering billet specialties for example, does one usually go 15x8 or 15x10?
Im seriously considering a set for my 2000 SS......

ive got the vision 571 Sport Star II .. the front 15x4 and they dont fit on my 2000 ls1 camaro ss...i need to grind the galiper a lot and get some hub centric rings 70.3mm tu 83mm for proper fittement... the weight of the wheel is 13.5 pounds ...not bad and went with M&H DOT they weight 12.8 pounds.. still waiting for the rear 15x8 they are back order

Here's my car with weld prostars. 15x10 with 6.5 BS
Had to grind the hell out of the calipers to fit. They sit inside the fender with no spacer but they're super close to the brakes.
With a 5/16 spacer they will clear the brakes with minimal grinding but will scrub if I hit a big bump and have a buddy in the car. I'd say 1/8" spacer would be the best blend of caliper grinding and fender fitment.
Had to massage the inner fender lip, but that's it. No fender rolling.
I can get a picture showing the "tuck" if you need
