275 35r18 - which offset would be best for 18" ?

Question 275 35r18 - which offset would be best for 18" ?

Rims will be 18x9.5

Seller currently has it on the invoice for +40 offset, should i keep this or +35 ?

if i understand correctly, the shorter the offset the tires go out more right?

what size tires will be used? +40mm offset will work and gives you room to add an adapter down the road if you choose to make the wheels stick out farther. being lowered or stock height and the size tires used all make a difference. I recommend staying with +40mm offset.

tires are 275 35 18

car is already lowered i believe 1.5"

i run the Forgestar CF5's with 275/35/18 tires on all 4 corners. They are 40mm offset and never have an issue. they do no stick out past the fenders and sit just inside them, which is what I prefer. I am also on the Koni/Strano setup. the difference between 40 and 35 offset is negligible, maybe a 1/4 inch further push out with the 35 over the 40.

i run 285/35/18 18x10.5 +38 on strano springs. no issues. no rolling or rubbing
