New Wheels - Forgestar CF5
Received these a few weeks ago and finally got some pictures of them. These are Forgestar CF5 18x9.5" in Black Graphite with Continental Extreme Contact Sport 275/35/18. I wanted something not black, but also not grey. This color almost looks grey in the sun, but in the shade almost looks black, its a really unique color. I did end up waiting 16 weeks for them, but I think the wait was worth it. The last pic is in the shade, but its hard to get a good shot of the color change.

Really like the wheels. I got the same ones in Bronze Burst but mine are 18x10. I tried fitting mine but the hubs made contact with the brake caliper mounting brackets on the front so i haven't been able run them yet. Really like the understated look of yours without being just a regular black wheel.

Here's a quick pic of just the wheels. Its been too hot to drive the car and it needs some good lighting to catch the color right so I don't have full shots of the car that show the color. All mine look black like the pics above lol

That's a nice color, thanks! Black cars with bronze wheels are starting to grow on my. Just don't see too many LS1's with that setup

Thanks! I agree that not too many around here step outside of the chrome/black/silver/grey schemes (not that there's anything wrong with them!). I wanted something different this time and this was a step towards that. That picture isn't even a good representation of it either because of the lighting but its the best I have on the car. I will try to get another pic in better light for you.

Still not the best lighting cuz its hot as hell right now lol so these STILL don't capture the color right but I feel you can get a pretty good idea here. Please don't judge me for the filthy car either lol.

Yeah, I definitely like that look.

Sorry Spudnick, I didn't mean to go off on a tangent from your thread. I really dig your wheels too. That setup is high on my list whenever I finally decide to get some nice wheels.

Whenever you get time you should start a new thread that shows off these wheels a bit better. I'm sure there are quite a few people who would be interested in this.

Thanks man. The Brembos actually were required to fit these wheels since they for some reason wouldn't clear the stock smaller ls1 brake caliper brackets. Tony (Nineball on here) had never seen it before and Forgestar offered to take the fronts back and machine them to fit but that would mean they would have to be refinished and I had already put a ceramic coating on the wheels so I didn't want to deal with that. I knew I wanted the brembos anyway so it just bumped up my purchasing timeline quite a bit lol.
