Default 335s and stranos on Camaro

Anyone do it? I think it may be my winter project. I really don't want to have to mini tub my car. I'm fine with beating the crap out of my wheel wells.

No need to mini tub to fit 335 or 345 tires. I know I've been taking forever with mine, but I just can;t seem to get my *** home from working out here in the **** Middle East.

I have my 335 tires mounted on my 18 x 12.5 rims. I test fit them already, I just need to cut a part of the inner wheel well wall out and weld a flat steel plate in its place.

I will be selling a kit for about $150.00 that will include what you need to fit those size tires. It will have a pattern that you use to cut the metal part out, and it includes the exact fit steel plate to weld back in. Should take 20 minutes per side to complete.

Only thing it will not include, but is required, is a set of offset LCAs. You will have to buy those. Or spacers if you want the tires to sit in a different spot.

$24.95 for a set of offset sleeves......put them into almost any LCAs......except factory LCA.s. UMI makes them.....
http://umiperformance.com/catalog/in...roducts_id=108

Or buy some very good thin LCAs from Founders Performance (IIRC $119.00) to put the UMI offset sleeves into. Gives you even more room for big tires.

I've done 3 sets of OEM C6Z and C6Z Spyder wheels. No spacers. Alot of BFH, tubular lca's, Jeep bumpstops. Lowered on Strano's, fenders were rolled. All had 325's. Everybody else I know wth 335's have mini tubbed

I have these lower control arms. Stupid question, how would these offset sleeves work? Would I need spherical rod end lower control arms? Thanks in advance.

Not right off but that's key, if you know the areas to attack it's not that bad at all really. Wheels have to come off here in a couple days, I'll get pics
