Default Anybody run the Nitto 555R 285/35/18 Yet?

Gonna need some sticker tires with the heads going on. I'm running 555's 285/35 right now and just wanted to see what you guys thought about the DR's. Thanks.

As soon as my car is done and back on the road I'm giving them a try also. Let me know how you like them.

Please post some pics, I would like to see them mounted. I am afraid of them being to skinny.

Ferocity02..Looking at the specs on their website the regular 555 is 11.30 wide and the DR is 11.22 wide. I have they 555's now and they are big! I'll post pics when I get them mounted up though.

Yeah, but Nitto measures their tires differently, so a 315 to them is more like a 285-295 for most other brands. At least this is what I hear. Comparing pics of 315 Nittos and 315 BFG's, the BFG's are incredibly wider.

I run nitto 555 285/35/18s all around. I just got a set of 555R for the rear. I wish I would have gotten 295s instead because they look a little narrow after mounting because they don't have all the extra sidewall stuff the regular 555s have. I will be trying them at the track soon.

I just got Nitto's 305/35/18 DRs put on my Chrome 18x9.5 C5 rims, and they fit great. They are about the same height as the stock 275/40/18 F1s that came on the car.

They are not flush with the rim, but they don't have much of a bulge either. I think they look really good!!...Randy
