Default Wheel spacers

Has anyone out there experienced use of wheel spacers on a 2002 Trans AM WS6? I would like to use them on my car but I've heard they tend to come loose and I ain't trying to have that.

Yes, and how well they work depends on the quality and size. Bigger wheel spacers require longer studs, the spacer should be hub centric regardless of how big or small it is.

I'm going with a 1 1/2 inch spacer. So the stock studs aren't long enough?

I have hub centric 1" adapters on all four corners and have no issues. I have two sets of C5 Corvette wheels I run and both have hollows so I didn't have to trim the studs either.

Use bolt on spacers and you will have no issues.

I wouldn't trust them. At 1 1/2" I'd run the bolt on wheel spacers or run longer arp studs.

1.5 inch and you wont even see the stock studs. They will not poke through. You have toi use bolt-on or longer studs for that thick of spacer

I haven't felt any Vibrations - I ran non-centric spacers, centered with ARP Studs, up to 1" thick, and travelled 159 mph on a Closed circuit course. No issues. FWIW.

If I use 1 inch spacers will the stock studs be good enough?

No, the Stock Studs are too short, the previously mentioned ARP's have greater length.
