Yeah, some people will spare no expense to avoid walking. My son almost cost me an engine with that kind of mentality. I know if it were me I'd be calling a wrecker because my wheels cost a hell of a lot more than $300. I've been looking at a set of Welds and one rear is around $1600 without the rubber.

135/80/16 is all I see that is available the other sizes are out of stock.

That sure ain’t me! I was hoping to save the wheel. It was spent. It and the tire were under warranty so it saved me a grand. I did end up walking a mile and a wrecker towed it home.

I have my spare out currently and my spare does not appear to have ever been on the ground. It still looks brand new. Just a suggestion have you thought about measuring with your current spare in there to see if a slightly taller tire would fit?

Those are some really tight quarters where the spare tire lives. I thought one that was only an inch taller would fit and no!
Also - I only used my spare tire once in 20 years and it was fine when I put it back last time. It didn't even blow while using it ... it blew just sitting in it's stowed position!
