possibly 315's but you will absolutely need a adjustable pan hard bar.....imo you should get one anyways to center the rear no matter what tire size you go with.....

Welcome to the site.

Please search for other threads as you will find a wealth of knowledge over several decades. This topic has been covered before. As you go through possible combinations of alternate tires, available wheels that fit the stock axles, etc. you will likely find that your tire circumference will be off from stock, also. This could/may cause your ABS to malfunction. Some people remove the system, which comes with obvious drawbacks.

you need your stock wheels widened like mine are. Weldcraft out of texas does this . Then you will need a 1 inch spacer and then hammer out the inner wheel well and then also roll your fender lip .

If your stick to the stock wheels dont go any wider .

Stock 17x9" wheel can handle a 285/40/17 without any problems, this is 10mm wider than stock and slightly taller (about a 1/4", won't cause any issues with ABS). But this tire size offers extremely limited options (it was the stock rear size for later C4 Corvettes without the Z51 option), so you might be better off with the stock 275mm width and the greater quantity of tire options of such.

Probably going to get an extra set of CETA wheels and have them widened for wider rear tires. The hard part is finding the wheels for decent price.

No need for specific CETA wheels if you plan to have them widened anyway. There is nothing special about them other than the paint/color. You can get any 5-spoke 1996-2000 WS6 wheel and, as part of the widening, have it painted/powder coated to match the original CETA finish.
