Do I have enough clearance for tire growth for these 28in ET Drags??
Just swapped a set of 28x10x15's ET drags on the ride. They clear the inner fender well nicely and with room to spare(fender well was already "clearanced" with my BFH for some other tires )
But being on a 5.5 BS draglite rim they sit evenly with the back bumper and front of the fender. I can roughly get my big knuckled finger between the tire both on the rear of it and the front of it. Here is two pics of the clearance
Thanks all,
J

Thanks guys, but I think it will work. I can see it hitting on the T/As as the rear "ground effects" get in the way a lot more than my Formula's bumper cover.
My buddy Neal, who I borrowed from runs em on his T/A. He had to cut up his bumper too.
We'll find out....taking the 26's just in case lol.

DragRadials grow? Anyone got a picture of thier bumper cover cut up. I dont mind hammering the inner wheel well but cutting up my ride, that would not be acceptable. And I just ordered some 325-50-15 MT drag radials!

I just bought a set of 28x10.5x15s so I'm gonna have to "clearance" the bumper cover
So if you folks have a pic of the cut bumper please post em up.
PSJ, That is a good rule of "thumb" I'll be sure to see if I can get that with the new set of tires.
MOZ Those tires were ET DRAGS far from a drag radial, its a full rear end destroying slick. I'm with you tho, I need to see some pics of cut bumpers.

I would like to see some pics of the cut bumpers. What is involved, what did you cut them with?
