Never heard of them are they some eupoean only brand?Ive been leaning towards semperits or mayby some halkipalittia's from the nordic persuasion. From what I have found I need to get 225 55 16 to fit the stock 16x8 wheels. Some of these tire boys are telling me I need smaller wheels no mater what but the manufacturers sites list approved wheel sizes.I have an extra set of wheels so I want to use them.

My wife has Michelin Pilot Sport all season on her 02 Z28 and loves them. They do great in the snow as long as there is some weight in the back.

One word comes to mind BLIZZACK! Tirerack sells a combo. They used to sell the Blizzacks with 1997 takeoff Camaro alloy rims for like $600.00 mounted, balanced, and shipped but now they sell them with steel rims/wheel covers.

I've run Michelin Arctic Alpins and Yokohama Guardex 600's (the yokos are for sale with about 600 miles on them, pm me if interested). I run a 215/60-16 on a V6 steel rim (16x7) and never have any problems.

They wear if you are hard on the car, but you'll get several seasons out of a set.

Well I did extensive research the last few days, had my buddy in the tire bizz check also and found out I have champaagne taste on a beer budget. The only size that will
work on the extra set of 16x8 stock rims I have is 225x55x16. This leaves any economical tire brand non existent, and the preimium brands at well over 100 a tire.
Ebay to the rescue, got a set of new michelins from a liquidator for 303.40 to my door.
Only problem is they are 245x45x16 a bit fat for snows but cheap bastards can't get to pickey. One plus is these bad boys are v rated so turn in will be
half decent compared to those Q rated mushballs.Snow tire prices seem to have taken a big jump since I priced them last year at the same sources.

I have Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 tires on cheap steel wheels. I got it in a package from TireRack a couple seasons ago for under $600 shipped to my door. (It may have been $575, I dont remember). Now the package is $624 before shipping. This is a great package. These tires handle great on snow and ice. They have a "Q" speed rating, which is 99mph (I think).

Look for a 215/60-16. They fit, work well in snow and are probably cheaper. That's what I run.
