they look real nice and look like they would hook better than the old comp ta's

or should i go with the NITTO's ???
i really want a better launching straight line tire but also want a good cornering tire as these will stay on my car..... for all the 2,500 miles a year i put on it.......... but i dont want a tire that feals floaty or mushy at high speeds.....!!!!

I had 13" BFG drag radials on the backs with 10" on the fronts on my car at the Sema proving grounds at is was awesome. My '02 SS wth the STS 5psi kit looked awesome on the track with those tires.
I drove the car on the street as well with out any problems, and it hooked up hard. I could almost pick up the front end from a roll at 10 MPH.
The tires did pick up a ton of stuff and when I drove through a couple puddles I didn't get any traction.

what do you guys think of the NEW BFG drag radials?
they look like they have a bigger contact patch than the old comp t/a's ...
but im sure there just as sticky as the old ones....
how long do you think they would last.... i never really burn out and only drive around 100-150 miles per month?
6-7000 miles???

The BFG drags are night and day better for traction than Nittos, but the BFGs suck *** in the rain, hardcore. I'm going to get about 10K miles on my BFGs.

I have been running the new traed pattern for the BFG in the 275/35/18" size all summer on my Corvette and really liked them. I have noticed virtually zero difference in the ride quality and handling. Being stock motor and MN6 car I can only manage a best of 1.8 60'. This has managed to aide me to hit 12.58 so I am happy. For next year, I am looking at the MT ET Street's. I hear the cause less stress on the rear on launch due to the taller side walls.

These have been around for about a year now. Hell, Ive had a few sets I believe the compound was changed slightly as I get much better mileage with the new design. Not to mention it looks killer. And yes...it hooks hard, warm or not. Great tire. Still wont last as long as the multi-compound Nitto...but another great choice.
