Well at least we know whats going on with the Cragars now. It's too bad those 230's are so hard to find, they're nice.
I almost considered the Bullets, when I couldn't get the Cragars, until I found out that the 17x9's weigh 26.5lbs! Thats just too heavy for me.

Yup, Weld is licensed to make cragars also, straight from the timeline on their website...
"1999
Cragar licenses Weld Racing the rights to produce and distribute Cragar forged aluminum wheels."

I just found that Summit Racing also has Cragar SS wheels, although they are not the 230 series it appears. Take a look at this link and share with me the correct offset/backspacing for the 2000-2002 camaros of you can please. The 17x9 size is the largest they carry.

I went to the Cragar website posted earlier and found a list of dealers, going to call them tomorrow or Tuesday to see what I can find out about these.
I talked to OEwheels office in Oklahoma City and that guy told me that the bullet rims where available for F Bods in the 17x9 and 17x10.5 , and were incredibly close to the SS rim with the Cobra emblem installed and that the Cragar centercap would not fit. I think he may be wrong on all of this but I would rather have the Cragar SS on my car at the moment since it seems everyone has the TT2's or the ZO6's. The previous pics shown in this column are incredible.

The Cragar S/S WILL FIT. Go back in this thread and see any of the pics I have posted of the BULLET wheels I sell with the Cragar S/S center cap in them ! ! !
If you would like, provide me with your email address and I will take a BULLET wheel out of the box tomorrow, install the Cragar S/S center cap in it and shoot a digital photo of it and email it to you as proof.

There has been some controversy regarding whether a Cragar S/S center cap will fit in a BULLET wheel. I do know that a Cragar S/S center cap will fit in the wheels that I sell. Below is a digital photograph of a 18X9 one piece chromed aluminum BULLET wheel with the Cragar S/S center cap that I took yesterday (3/23/05).

I don't think anyone was doubting you Phase_2, it's just that a lot of places make bullet replicas and most seem to be different in one way or another, I've seen the bullets that OEwheels make and they don't look anywhere near as good as the pic you just posted. So if you want to make sure they fit Joker, talk to 02_Phase2_ZL1, I'm sure he could hook you up.

I agree, they are "Bullet" wheels. Not much difference between the "Bullet" wheel and the old Cragar aluminum wheel which you can't find anymore and they don't make anymore. My understanding was the same factory produced both wheels in China.
I sell the "Bullet" wheel and have a "Cragar" centercap that will fit them as shown below:
