Default Switch from ROH Snypers too...

I've had my Snypers on the car for a while (see pictures at the link in my signature) and am getting antsy to try something else since new tires will be needed soon. When I change tires I'd like to make the jump to 18" wheels (would like 19s but dont want to slow the car down too much nor pay an arm and a leg for tires). So I'm looking at something around the 18x9-18x10 mark that would compliment the car and the hood nicely, and wont break the bank either (really looking at around $1000 for wheels alone, could stretch that up to $1200 or so possibly). At the top of my list are the HP Evos in light silver (or should I go dark) in 18x9 with the 3" lip but I just dont think they work so well with my hood and that they'd look better with the WS6 hood. Anyway, just looking for some suggestions, and feel free to photoshop anything up that would work using the pictures on my Webshots page at http://community.webshots.com/album/68580424QXDuhq

PS: No "stock" wheels (ZR1s, Z06s, Y2Ks, etc). Must be aftermarket.

CCWs, HREs, and iForged are all a bit out of my price range. I'm only thinking I can get $500 for my wheels and tires, and I'd only want to throw in another $1000-1500 on top of that for a new set of wheels and tires, so most of those are out of the question. The Boyd wheels I dont like, just dont work with these cars IMO. Thanks for the pics though, might have some new desktops.

CCW's are by far the cheapest non-OEM wheels out. $2500 a set with tires for some sick 19's ain't bad at all man.

$2500 WITH tires? I thought they were that much without tires. Where do you get your pricing from and is it something the average joe can get, or do you have connections? Also keep in mind that I'd like to stay with 18" at the most (although some 505a 19" wheels are my dream wheel).

The reason iForged, HRE, and (I thought) CCW were out were because I can't drop $2000 on rims alone and have to buy tires on top of that. I'm just not willing to spend that much on rims and tires that are going to slow the car down.

My bad man, didn't read the fine print on the bottom saying price excludes tires.

Aw, now that's just mean.

It's all good. I actually had Snypers before switching to the Boyds. Probably would have kept the Snypers if you could get 'em in 17x11...

Shane, your car looks great man, I just dont think they work with the lines on MY car (should have clarified), simply because of my Raptor hood, and I dont know if the HP Evos would even work with my hood and the lines it puts on the car. The only cars the Boyds or the Evos would work on would be a car with a WS6 hood IMO, but Raptor hoods just aren't that common for a bunch of different wheel combinations. Any ideas?

I'm thinking these would be nice, and at around $1400 for a set of 17x9.5 wheels the price is right to boot...

Boyd Timeless 5s.

Also, Billet Specialties GTX01 are nice wheels at $375 a piece (wont go over $400 per wheel) and the SLG20s in 17x10 for $400 per wheel...

And then some of my dream wheels, although I hate the fact that they dont have a lip on them, SSR GT1s...

EDIT: Just checked Tire Rack and the 18x9 GT1s are going for $249 a piece. The wheel only weighs 19.5 lbs each, almost unbeatable IMO. I really like those wheels, almost tempted to order some.

If you could swing Fikse's I'd say go with a set of FM10's.

Goodluck on your quest.

www,wheelguyz.com, Im trying to have pics up in a couple of hours. Tires, right now they are 245-40-18 all the way around. It was $100 more to have 275's put in the rear. A buddy of mine gave me three 275-40-18's. So when I wear the rear two out Im going to put a lil wider tire on them. But right now it dosent look bad at all with the 245's
