HEy Doug, from what I heard, you are wanting to use the 17"x8.5" wheels up front, & the 18"x9.5" wheels out back. You'd end up using tires that aren't the same diameter front to rear. Unless I'm mistaken, that will cause problems with the ABS.

I'm sure an f-body owner here will know for sure.

From what I've seen, F-bodies start having ABS problems
at right about 10% tire circumference difference. Below
that I haven't seen any beefs; above it, a couple.

Jimmy how's it going?

Actually, around 3.75% difference abs will start to complain. At 10% it's a guarantee.

With the 275/40/17 in front and 26/10.50/16 MT bigends out back I got some weird pedal feedback at the track on my pewter car.

A 275/35-18 or 285/35-18 is very close & should be ok.

if you run 17 and 18,you'll probably want to go with what the vettes use.295/35/18 rear and 265or275/40/17 front.you should be able to fit a 295 on a 9.5 wheel.i use to run 285s on a 17x9 wheel.

The actual value is 6% which will set a wheel speed sensor Lamda fault. In order to avoid this fault you should stay below a 3% difference in rolling circumference. Staying as close to the stock rolling diameter as possible is best for performance.
