the reason for this is because the pattern on these wheels is 5x120 and our cars are 5x120.65. i would recommend getting the hub centering rings.

how much was it just for the wheels? ive heard they can be had for 700$, and on wheelguyz its 1000 right?

^^^those are 19X9.5 but also the hyperdark, which is what I have. The color changes pretty dramatically with lighting and distance. The closer you get to the car the darker they look.
--00firebird, I was origionally quoted and ordered a set for $700 shipped from a guy off ebay. Had ALOT of issues with the guy and ended up cancelling my order and going to wheelguyz. They quoted me $790 for the wheels alone shipped. The $1300 I paid was for the wheels, tires mounted and balanced, and shipped.

F-Buds,

Just ordered 18X9's Hyper Lights all around. 245/40/18 FRONT--275/40/18 BACK. I wanted the 18X9.5's but they said those won't be available for quite some time. The Ebay sellers said they could get them (9.5's) but that just made me a little more worried as there is no warranty and are as-is. Anyways, picked up the whole set M&B for $1399 SHIPPED with NT555's all around.

7 Business days and counting.....

Oh yes, The Hub Centering Rings are included FREE!

"i would recommend getting the hub centering rings."

O.k, I have a really important question....What are Hub centering rings?
Do they keep the rim snug?

I would love these rims on my car. 19 inch for sure!!

I have a 400 plus horsepower Camaro. Hopefully hitting 500 by the end of the summer. The last thing I want is for the rims to start flying off under hard street accelleration.

Thanks
Horde

Horde,

Hubcentric rings are rings that sit around the hub. The hub diameter is slightly smaller than the hole in the middle of the wheel and hubcentric rings fill the gap.

I'd like to know where 1BigBird3 got his set from also. That's a pretty good price.

Thank-you ws6-speed. With your reply, does that mean the rims would be safe and secure on the car?

Furthermore...If I'm clear on your explanation, does that mean that the hubcentric ring is circular, and it has 5 holes that go over the rivets of the hub? The holes have a lip that make up the .65mm, keeping the rim in place?

Am I out to lunch? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

Horde, I know basically nothing about the rings, except that they don't affect the bolt pattern still being off. If you search google a lot of places sell them, but I have no idea what measurements to take to get the right size.

I just ordered my set of 18X9's today of the NT555's 245's up front with 275's in the rear (same set up as 1BigBird3) I thought the 1399.00 shipped was a pretty good deal. 10 business days from now I should have them!

Hola F-Buds,

Sorry for the delay, one of my clients is letting go half of his staff. Been doing a lot of prepping.

As $weeeeT as 19's look, (as you can obviously see on 00firebird's post) IMO I thought they would be overkill. I have enough invested into my ride that going up one more inch wouldn't hinder any more performance as the mods would make up for it, I just wanted to be a little on the conservative side. As long as they look as good as NineBalls', I'm good. Although i would have preferred 9.5's!

I'm sure if you glanced at this thread a little more in detail, you will see wheelguyz was our preferred method in buying these rims. When I asked them the weight of the rims, they said "22lbs." Not trying to start a "who's right and who's wrong" conversation, but just letting you the numbers they gave me. So if anyone who is buying the rims ONLY can weigh them then post the exact weight, that would be *office space voice* Greeeaaaatt */*

$1399 SHIPPED is a GREAT deal. Initially I was going to pick up some slightly used Fikse's or Privarts, but for the price and them being brand new with warranty, I'll manage. I just hope these don't get played out like the TTII's. *throws on flame suit*

Ruben "Is going to curse the day I see another fbody with my rims in So Cal" F.

Then again, these rims fit Rx7's, and Lexus's and more... So what the hell right?

Oh-ya, the color of my Z is Arctic White. So I'll post pix to let you know how they look with the Hyper Lights.

These wheels are great but the places that carry them are shady and a joke. I had nothing but a run-around trying to get my 18x9s during the summer that I ended up biting the bullit and buying 19x9.5s.

The car is a garage queen as you can see from my website, but I love these wheels.

Talk about anger, I scraped a curb while pulling into work when I had to swipe at the security gate....

Damn, I'm falling in love with those wheels!! The more I see them the more I like them !!

I have the money (thanks income tax) but I'm a little hesitant. Since I'm bone stock I don't know if wanna spend the money in looks rather than performance.

What do u guyz think ?
