Running 1 Mickey Thompson slick TUBELESS, and the other one WITH a tube... Well guys, as read in another thread, I found a nail in one of my slicks, but they wouldnt just sell me ONE slick..So i bought a Mickey Thompson tube and replaced it...my tire size(if it matters) is 26X11.5X16..
My question: Is it ok to run 1 slick wiht a tube and the other slick without a tube?? There both TUBE TYPE tires, but before I had the nail in my slick i ran it w/o tubes..I put the tube about a week ago and no leaks, nothing etc. to teh one I fixed, is it OK? Anyone ever tried this before, I dont see why it wouldnt work, maybe one tire would just be a little bit heavier <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: Running 1 Mickey Thompson slick TUBELESS, and the other one WITH a tube... in my last 4 sets of et streets (including my current set with 15 runs), I have ALWAYS managed to get a nail/screw in one tire <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> and that tire would get a tube and I would continue to run the other without a tube. no problems for me, other than the damn nails! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
