man, these tires look so sick. I can't wait to have them put on. We'll c if they are worth all the hype, but i would be inclined to say yes.

I really like mine, but they aint worth a crap on any amount of snow.
I had to jump my truck, this winter, pulled up along side my truck, and she just sat and spun. The UPS driver jumped outta his truck and pushed me back in the garage.
But on dry roads, or even in the rain they handle sweet.

Hey man you've got to pay to play. With shipping from tirerack. There $1026.00 then you would have to pay someone to mount and balance them. Which they would charge you out the *** because you didn't buy the tires from them. I just got these because I was on Kumho's before and they won't hook for **** and I was tired of getting bet down out of the hole on the street. I would have ran drags but I daily drive my car.

No offense because if I drove my car more than 1-2 days a week I probably would buy a better tire.

Got 2 285/40/17's for the rear for less than $400 for both. Got a hook up who has a wholesale acc. with Tire Rack. Sears was $50 to mount both on the rim and balance. Put them on the car myself though. Sears DGAF where you bought them, price will be the same. Still they don't hook like my Nitto DR's

Well the road finally dried up from the rain so I sould try my GS-D3's out that I got yesterday. Man these things hook awesome. No more hook until 3500rpms in first then spin to the redline. I could kick my butt for running Kumho's. Yeah they were expensive but well worth it IMO. Dude your going to love yours.

What are so bad about the GS-D3's beside's price. I've heard nothing but good things about them. I didn't get but 25k out of my Kumho's and they suck performance wise. I guess I just wanted a all around good tire. For performance and driveablity in the rain.

IMO, for what I do, GSD3's would be a waste of money that I could spend somewhere else. I cut nearly a 2.0 60' on a slick track with horribly dry rotting 245/50/16 eagle HP's with 35psi in the tires. When I go to a 275/40 in the rear, or even a 295/35, I wont need to get a GSD3, I'll just out drive the people that I come across on the street. I dont see why I wouldnt be able to pull some 1.9 60's on Falkien Ziex's or any other of the economy-performance tires. I just dont have $1000 bucks to drop on tires, If I did i'd just buy a pair of drag radials and call it a day anwyay.
That's my $.02. Of course, GSD3's are amazing tires all around. If I took my car to a road course and wanted to use street tires, they would probably be my choice. But for normal street/strip operation, they're overkill for me.

I ordered a set for my car this past week, I really hope they make it here in time to mount/balance before the AutoFair. I read up a lot on the different tire options and the GS-D3s seem to get nothing but good reviews.
