Thumbs up 19 20 and both

looking for opinions from anyone that has gone up in size to a 19, 20 or mix matched combo on overall feel of the wheel and what tire you ran. i'm trying to decide wether to go up to a 18/19 combo or 19/20 on the c5 but there aren't many people on the vette forums to comment on it.

so if you have either 19's, 20's or the combination i would appreciate your input.

There's a guy on the Vette forum that went from Magnesium wheels to Foose Speedsters 19/20. It slowed him down quite a bit due to the added unsprung weight. It also doesn't look right on a car that is slammed to the ground. Check out Complete Custom Wheel's website for pics with cars that have 19" wheels.

do you have a working link to ccw's website as i've been trying with no luck and just out of curiosity do you have a working link or picture of that vette? for my particular instance 18 to 19 is only 2 lbs more and 19 to 20 is also on ly 2 lbs more.. while this adds up i agree it's a street car so that actual weight ratio doesn't concern me as much as being able to fit the project build.

thanks for the suggestions.

Ive seen a c5 on 20inch davin speeds and it was sick. the car looked very nice. i also saw a 2002 ss on 20in z06 replicas and it looked very nice also. it eats up all the wheel well. the only down side is when you go bigger than 18s the tires sky rocket in price and you are limited to choices. i am with you i want 18/19 HRE 545Rs. nice wheels for 6K with tires.

what if you could have your hre for 2.5k with tires in either 19 or 20? you just needed to choose a size?

it's a hypothetical question, the purpose of the thread is to find out opinions on sizes and overall. prices is and should not be a concern.
