Default Which Hook Better MT streets or Drag radials in 17"

I am about to buy new tires and was wandering if the MT et Streets in 17" are worth it or go with the 17" MT drag radials. I know the 17" Nittoes are good for a few passes but after that they are letting me down. I will not launch at over 3500 to 4000 rpm, the Nittos hold good for about a 2 to 2500 rpm launch.

16" M/T Drag Radials made my fairly stock car bog bad when launching. They hook awesome! Too good for my mild combo, but yours should like them. No reason to use ET Streets since the M/T Drag Radials are just as sticky and drive better on the road. I did not know that either of those tires were available in 17" sizes?

Except sidewall flex for much better traction off the line and 1-2 shift.

I daily drive 27" ET streets, but MT radials would be MUCH safer and practical if you do any highway or long distance driving at all and if your ET streets get a flat you'll have to tube them as well.

Go with the ET drag radials. I've had both and prefer the radials.
