Default MT ET streets !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help me pick between these 2 tire sizes:
Mickey Thompson ET Street, 26 x 10.5 x 16
Mickey Thompson ET Street, 26 x 11.5 x 16

I have some 16" 5 star firebird wheels laying around. They're 16x8. I wouldn't have any fitment issues, would I?

Which tire would be ideal for track use? What would the difference in RPM's be or what gear I'd be in at the end of the 1/4 mi?

M6
4.10's
bolt ons
Cam

Any/all help is greatly appreciated.

some ppl have amazing luck.. from what i've heard slicks are easier on the drivetrain then drag radials cause of drag rads dead hook.. the harder sidewall hits like a hammer.

slicks have mo cushion for the pushin.

Well I'm a ***** then because there will be no DR's or slicks of any sort going on my car until there is a 12 bolt/9 inch under it.

I know all about the high possibility of blowing up the 10 bolt. I don't plan to launch too high though, and if it blows - then so be it. 12 bolt/9" here I come.

Which size would be the ideal size for me to run with?

advantage would be more traction, disadvantage is it hurts your gearing if you dont need them.

How would I determine if I would need the 27 over the 26? Just by testing both of them out?

I guess the question that I really need answered is, with 4.10's...which size ET street would be the best to run at the dragstrip?

Thanks 1320. I do not have adjustable LCA's.

Would going with the 27" throw my rear end out of allignment or something?

the 27 are gonna hook more but require you to launch higher with out bogging which will add up to a broken rear or axel. M6's are running 4.10=NOS and 4.30's NA. stick with the 26" tires till you get a rear and be happy with a slight bogg out of the hole. If you get too greedy and launch higher to get a better 60ft. kiss that rear or axel good bye. I've been there broke that

if NA I say go 26 inch, When I use my 28s NA I have too much room left in 4th gear when crossing the traps, on nitrous though its just right, I also have 4.10s
