Fitting 15x10rim and 28x10.5 tire...
who has fit 15x10 welds(7.5 bs) with a 28x10.5 m/t drag in a camaro? what exactly has to be done to fit it? im guessing, grinding calipers, BFH mod, and maybe roll fenders. how much of this has to be done and is it even possible on stock length rear? how much is it to get the fender lips rolled or how hard is it? if i really have to i can get my rear shortened as i havent gotten it yet. basically want to know how hard its gonna be and if i should just get smaller tires. thanks.

They'll be ok, but you'll probably have to roll the fender or possibly trim the rear bumper a little. Grinding on the calipers for sure. The 7.5 is the correct backspacing though.

the calipers are a given with a 15in rim, but how do you roll the fender lips? or how much is it to get that done somewhere? and what exactly do you mean by trim the rear bumper? about how much does the well have to be pounded in to fit them. i want someone that has done this before and can maybe show me pics, i am very interested in doing this as i can get a great deal on these tires and dont want to pass them up. sorry for all the questions, ive never had bigger than stock tires on any of my cars

You can roll the inner fender lip, or cut it out. My shop cut mine back and then placed cuts about every 5 inches and then rolled then back up into the fender. It eliminates that little half inch of so lip that protrudes into the tires. It's not expensive, and i've enven heard of guys using a baseball bat and having someone inch the car forward...hope this helped a little

--Do you have pics of where/how much you grinded the calipers?
--I would imagine with a 10" wide wheel you could fit wider rubber in there. Most folks put the 10.5 tires on an 8" rim don't they?

GM Muscle posts on here and he has a pic of his calipers grinded, real good pic also, maybe do a search under his name. He is running 15x10 w/ 7.5 backspace w/ 275/50/15 MT drags. When my wheels come in, my 275/60/15 MT Drags are going on, which is what u want to know so maybe give it a week or so and I could tell u how they fit.

no problem. GM Muscle said he took some measurements and figured that it would be close to fitting w/out cutting the rear bumper. I was told they would fit, that is why I bought them. Also, me and GM Muscle are running the factory ground effects and are both lowered and he still figured there would be just enough room. But who knows!!

i didnt have to cut the rear bumper at all, and yes you WILL NEED too roll the finder as mine rubber after every bump i Hit, Yes you will need to do a lot of grinding too make them fit on the stock caliper...i have the same setup your looking at.

Nice . I have already rolled the lip and banged some on the inner fender with my 315 DRs. I was thinking since I have 315s now a 275 or slightly bigger DOT race tire on a 15" rim would not be a problem. Except for grinding the calipers.
