Default Anybody running a 245/45/17 and a 315/35/17? How about some pics!

Hi....I have a 1999 Trans Am. I'm thinking about a 245/45/17 tire on the front and a 315/35/17 on the back.

From what I figured, the 2 tires are exactly the same height. So, the speedo and ABS should be great. I'm not really interested in running a 275 up front unless the 245 looks funny with the 315 in the back.

If you're running this combo, what wheel size and offset are you using? Would the 315s rub in the back on a TA (I have no plans to lower the car)?

If you have pics, please post them!

Thank you in advance! Andrew

A common combo is a 275/40ZR17 on a 9 to 9.5" wide wheel and a 315/35ZR17 on a 10 to 11" wide wheel.

Very common wheel choises are the ZR-1 Replicas and American Racing TT2's

275/40 up front on a 9.5 ZR1 or TT II. 275/40 is the same size as a stock tire. right at 26 inches i think

I'm running 275/40/17's on the front of mine with 315's in the back. I bought the cheapest 275's I could find though so they kinda look like 245's in the front.

Here it is
