Default C6 Wheels on lowered car

I can get an awsome deal on a set of C6 vette wheels. they are 18" for the front and 19" for the rear. I have eibach prokit springs on the car and was wondering if anyone has tried this. i think it would look awesome. i dont know about clearance issues though. any help would be appreciated..

There was someone here on the board that got that set.
She (Teri9672) had to do ALOT of modifying to get the rims to fit properly.
Do a search and you will see what I am alking about.

correct, you'll need to spend even more money to get them to work.

When you say "a lot" what are the details? I understand one has to use a wheel adapter between 1 and 2 inches to compensate for the offset. What else would you have to do?

Of course we are assuming these are the OEM C6 rims. Are they?

you cannot buy a spacer that will work. I had to have them custom machined. you also need longer stud bolts. Several people in our area have ordered the wheels and tried to make it work... they all sent the wheels back.

Why wouldn't these work?

I guess you can get just about anything to work if you want it to.
All depends on the look you want. My husband is very picky and will only do what looks factory.

I guess you can just buy those and see if it works

Thumbs up

If I get them on, I'll post pics Teri. Not trying to be a copycat, but your car looks so good, I have to give it a shot.
