I've never heard of dust guards. lol. Is it basically just a circle shield that goes on the inside of the wheel?

I tried this when I did the last one, but it didn't really look right on this style wheel. The last image is pretty close to being just the spokes though. I bet it would look cool on the right wheel though, because I've seen it done with black on a few wheels in here.

Yes it's a thin plate that fits on the backside of a wheel. The original purpose of it is to block brake dust from collecting on your rims so they stay cleaner longer, but I picked them for the cosmetic benefit of having the color between the spokes.

I think it would look better annodized red with 30th stripes.

That's the first time I've ever saw anything like that. One thing I do actually plan on doing though, is putting some drilled (and maybe slotted) rotors on, and probably painting the calipers, so these wouldn't work for me.
