Need your expert opions....
Ok so im going to purchasing some rims in the next few weeks....and im lost!!! this color is weird, i dont know what to put with it or what time or rims...!
im definatly getting up front 17/ 9.5s and in the rear 18/10.5 or 18s up front as well.
I want something light or lighter then stock though and at a good price im thinking very hard on the Z06 MotorSport Black with the chrome lip. ill be putting some cheap *** tires on the front and some nitto 555rs on the back.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK???

The pic is too dark. What color is that? Blue? Green?
As far as aftermarket wheels go, if you intend to get something that isn't an original GM type wheel design and are set on having the sizes you specified, expect to do a little work to find what you're after.
Here's an example of a set of wheels I have. They're HP Designs HPR5's. The original wheel dimensions were 18X8. I wanted 9.5's for the front and 10.5's for the rear, so I sent them off to have them custom widened. Now I'm in the process of show polishing them. I do custom polishing work myself so I'm saving in labor costs. (I'll have some pics of the polished version up shortly.) There are a million wheel designs out there, so if you ever find one that you like but it doesn't come in the size or finish you want, this is an example of how you can still have that design without compromising your other goals. Hope that helps.

i think some chrome Z06's will look nice, i dont know about the black though. someone needs to photoshop some black ones, but i think polished, or chrome is going to look best. ZR1's, Z06's, y2ks have all become so popular that you can get them relatively cheap now. i am thinking about selling my 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 chrome Z06's

Nah don't do that. I think Chrome 10 spoke SS's would look good. If your car is Hunter Green not the green with metal flake in it. I would get black ZR1's and then do the flat black Berger Panel in the rear. I think that would look sweet and be very different. Color combo wise

Since you're looking for something lightweight, check these out:

Not too bad of a price, considering how rare they are. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a set of these on an F-body before.

There are a few people on this board that have or have had the Corvette magnesium wheels. They posted some pics. I like the design but I don't care for the original bronze finish-would prefer them in gray like some of the OEM C6 wheels. Do a search and I think you may be able to find the pics.

I found a pic with a Camaro with those magnesium wheels on it:
Not too shabby. Also said in one of the threads about the wheels that the fronts only weigh 17.5lbs. and the rears weigh 19.5lbs.

Fikse FM-5's are my choice. 17 by 9.5 front, 18 by 10.5 back. Lighter than stock, absolutely awesome quality, look great. Only bad thing is they are very pricy. 2 grand without tires.

Sounds like your car is mystic teal but with the picture that dark it doesn't look it. I don't think black wheels look good on much of anything unless the car is yellow. I'd go with a polished wheel since it won't pit or peel like chrome.
