Question 25 Series Tires?

Saw a Tire Rack ad and unless it was a misprint, they listed Michelin Pilot Sports in a 315/25-19 size. Anyone have any photos or links to photos of what this size looks like on a rim? Tire with side walls that small would seem prone to punctures and offer almost no protection for the rim.

I wouldn't put anything that small on a daily driver. That's just asking for a bent rim.

I agree. I'm thinking that size is primarily for trailered show cars.

A girl I work with has a 25 series tire on a 20" wheel. I don't know the width though. She said in order to clear everything on her maxima they had to go with that size.

Soon, someone will just come out with a big rim with a rubber coating where the tire would normally go.
