Bogart RR10s all around... daily driver safe?
I wanted to know if it would be safe to use say 15x6.5/7 RR10s in the front and 16x9.5/10 in the rear.
I know they aren't supposed to be used in the street, but I can't see why a road race wheel wouldn't hold up. Basically what I want are:
-a 7-8" wide front tire
-a 10+" wide rear tire(as much as will fit!)
-regular DOT Z rated tires... no DRs for now
-able to withstand 140+mph
-can take the regular cornering forces of everyday driving
Would this be alright?
I'm thinking Goodyear FS-C G3s or whatever the hell

The wheels are very strong...very. Off the top of my head...Never had any failures to date for any car taht we've built. (except for crashes etc). Can you bend them, sure you can, just as any other wheel if you hit a pothole or other object hard enough.

Awesome! And I see you're located in Pittsburg, PA... Maybe you'll have an order from me next summer when we go to Indiana, PA on vacation
And I suck with tire sizes... Right now I have 245/50-16s all around. I believe I'd like a thick 315 out back and like 215s in the front. I've been told that the ABS can act up if there are different sized tires put on and whatnot, can this be fixed with like tunercat or something to make up for a larger rear and smaller front tire?
Now that I think about it, I think a slightly smaller rim diameter out back would look good as long as I could get a thick sidewall appearance in the back.
I want the tough look of a drag car, but more friendly in the street.
And I have been reading around, it appears that Nitto DRs are bearable in the rain and as a daily driver, so I may end up using some after all, but skinnies is a no no.

After playing with the tire calculator:
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...foTireMath.jsp
I think I've come to the conclusion that this is what I want:
215/60-16 (maybe BFG KDW-S?) in the front (not sure if a 7 or 8" wide rim would be appropriate, plug those numbers in and check the section width... tell me what you think)
315/50-15 (probably Nitto DRs) in the rear on an 11" wide rear wheel (but again I'm not sure, I read that Nittos tend to be narrower than advertised)
