Cool Lightweight wheels

does anybody know some really good looking light weight wheels i could get for daily driver use?

they are actually almost the exact same weight as the Y2Ks

Yup. They do have a bit of a lip though- I think the style looks better on an F Body, but I don't care for the color.

CCW's Fikse, HRE, I-Forged . . . all are typically less than 20 lbs.

SSR Competitions, 18x9.5's are under 18lbs each. I wish I had the money to blow.

i have zr1's their alright....but you should go with bogarts they are the bomb.....i wish someone would wanna trade theirs for my zr1's

I wanted a set of these before I bought my Competition Grey C6 wheels for a quarter of the price of the SSR Competitions. If I come into some money, I would still consider a set if they are still making the rim. I hear SSR may be merging or going out of business. I like the gray color and it also has a lip.

But if you search the web there are concerns about these holding up under street use, especially with relatively heavy cars like ours. If the streets in your area are relatively smooth and there's not much roadwork going on, you'll probably be alright. But that's not the way it is around here and I can't afford to spend $2000.00 to experiment right now.

I have ssr's. Been running them for 3 years. They seem to hold up fine.

That's encouraging news for those who are considering them. Can you post pictures, I've never seen them on an FBody.

18.5 lbs. a peice. They are the lightest 18"s I could find.
