18s are about as far as I'd go. My rear wheels are 18s. There are plenty of guys on here with 19s and 20s in the rear, too, but in my opinion that's over doing it. Here's a pic:

well, imo, 18s are just right. not too much sacrifice in performance and they still look badass. 17's are too small (unless you want to go fast) but also look nice with meaty tires. its all tastes and preferences. My advice? get 18s all around and the same size, that way you can rotate them. I can't and its COSTLY, because i have 19 rears.
-good luck

I've got the same Z06 18s as MadIce V8 and IMO the are perfect on my 01 SS. I'm having issues with my computer so I can't post pictures, but do a search for posts made by "Bonus" in the cars for sale section.

If they are 18/9.5's with anywhere from 38mm to 56mm will fit. Anything over 56mm will require BFG mod. More than likely especially if your lowered. 53mm is about the best offset

I have the black z06 motorsports rims, 18x10.5 in the rear 17x9.5 in the front i had to put a 1/4" spacer in the rear to get them to fit though but no big F'in hammer mod You got american muscle, IMO anything over 18" is a little to ricey for my taste
