This is the photo of my car on BMR's webpage... I am selling my Convo Pro's this winter as I am building a new motor this winter and need to get a rim wider than 7.5"

stock springs all the way around. qa1's in the front...rear springs are cut. i cant remember how much i cut them...its either 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 coils off the top...no spring isolators. i took 1 coil off on the first hack. then went little by little till i get the height i was looking for. rear tires are 275-50-15 mt dr's on 10" rims. thanks for the compliment

i could be wrong...but i think the only way to get the correct offset with alumastars would be to narrow the rear end. i have seen guys with alumastars but they didnt fit properly and looked stupid. so now you have a kick *** looking rim...but it looks stupid cuz its hanging out the side. the most bs they offer for a 8" rim is 5" (i think...if they make a 6" that would be ok) which would have the rim hanging out the side. a 15x10 would require more backspacing which 6" is the most they offer and you need 7.5 for a stock rear end.

weld pretty much fucked us on their offerings in this rim. ive been on the phone with them many times and they said they just dont care. i had to narrow the rear end on my mustang to get them on...and in the end im glad i did because it looks nice with the deep dish look on the rear rim. i run a 10" rim with 3" bs.

Ah, so in order for alumastars to tuck up right on our cars we have to shorten our rear? I might be looking to get a set of prostars for my car.... My car will jsut be basic bolt ons here soon while i save for a 8psi FI set up which will net me low 11's with proper suspension..... What size rear tires would you suggest if i went prostars and what is the shock/spring combo most people go with to get that lifted rear, slammed front look? And is that combo height adjustable? Thanks alot. sorry for all the questions
