The MT DRs, but they are 10 bolt killers, especially with a manual trans.

When the go pedal is pushed, something has got to give.

Either your tires need to break traction

OR

Your weak, 10 bolt rear end is going to snap.

No 2 ways around it. If you want NO SPIN at all, get a 12 bolt or 9" and run MT DRs. They are sticky as ****.

I vote for DR tires for manual trans cars like the bfg or nitto for 10 bolt users.
I vote for narrow Hoosier QTP dot slicks for A4 cars with less hp
I vote for MT DRs for ultimate DOT cars all around.
I vote for real slicks for any car with a 12 bolt/9" and or a M6

I'm only on my forth rear end gearset with my 10 bolt, but I dont' drag that often. When I do get some slippage from the 8" wide hoosier QTP tires I think it is saving my butt. Surprizingly i have never had to tow this car from any track. It usually breaks some pinion or ring gear teeth, and I baby it home. (noisey, yes but I still drive it home) Some think its stupid but its easier for me to cough up 300$ for a new gearset and parts than it is to hack up 2500$ for a "new 12bolt".
