Default Keep Current Wheels or Black ZR1s

Unique vs. Performance + Theme

My rear tires are almost dead and it'll be time to replace them very soon. I have wanted 315s in the back for a long time, and now would be the time to make the move to an 11" wheel and get my wish. My front tires are still good so I could just have those swapped over if I changed wheels. I'd be out the price difference between my ROH Snypers being sold basically, as I was going to have to get new rear tires anyway. So what do you guys think? Stick with the more unique ROH Snypers and just pick up a 275 Nitto 555R or swap over to some black ZR1s and run a 315 Nitto 555R on the rear?

Car pic for reference:

i like the snypers man, they are a sweet looking wheel. the ZR1's are on every f-body i see it seems like. if you want some 315's have yours widened, it would only run you about $400 including shipping. my vote is to keep them, your car looks badass w/ them

I would go with the black zr1 rims! If you go with the zr1 put 17x11 on the back.

I have considered this and have looked into it before, but I'm having a hell of a time finding a place that will widen my wheels. If you know of any place let me know.

ZR1s are popular for a reason: Because they're classic and they look damn good. I liked them so much that I just went ahead and swapped them from my red car to the pewter one.

If you think it's time for a change, go for the ZR1s (it will go with your theme). If not, stick with what you've got.

I have a friend with some black ZR1s and I think we're going to throw them on one side of the Trans Am one weekend soon enough. I'll grab some pics and throw them up here when I get them. Until then, let the voting continue.

And played out or not, ZR1s are classic, affordable, and look very good. Right now thats what I need. I can worry about some nice, nice wheels in the future.

I think those snypers would look wicked widened. I'm not saying that black zr-1's would look good, but I like the look that you have going. Stick with the snypers.

ill agree that ZR1s are damn good looking wheels. in fact im going to get a set... but its not going to be black with a polished lip.. i have plans to be unique

i saw pics of a guy on here with TT2s with polished lip and painted black inside. it would look great on a red car expecialy IMO

I agree even thought the zr1's would look very nice, the snypers look good and are uniuque, in the end just do whatever looks best, it'll look good either way, i'm sure you're car is unique in your area as it is, so putting either wheel on will still make it stand out.
