It's fun to drive with skinnies and meats on your car until you get a nail in one of them. I know . I've already wasted one m/t front runner tire and a bfgoodrich radial .

so normal tires are immune to getting nails in them?

well, i've driven street tires for more than 2 years and never got a nail in them. I drove my radials for one week and wind up with a nail in them. It might just be my luck though. I said that cuz i figured since drag radials are stickier and softer than regular street tires that they are more prone to picking up a bunch of junk and being penetrated by anything pointy especially if you drive around town and stuff.

mt et drag radials..
Looks good. I like my 325's . Takes a little "massaging" to get them in there though . I'm pretty sure (unless somethings changed) there isn't a 315-50-15 MT DR. There's a 60 profile but thats a 29.8" tall tire. Same for the BFG's.

i guess i could see the sticky tired possibly doing that...but the doesnt explain the front runners. prolly just bad luck i guess.

Well, the only way that I can explain the front runners are that they are very thin, I guess you can say, and don't have as much tread as other front street tires. As the same with the drag radials, they are very soft also compared to a street tire.
